巷に溢れている携帯電話，ノートパソコンの液晶ディスプレイに加えて，薄型・大型テレビの大幅な需要の伸びは近年目覚しいものがある。買い替え需要により大量の使用済み液晶テレビが市場に放出され始めている。このような中，廃パネルから材料を回収する技術が求められている。我々は液晶パネル生産工場で発生する廃パネルをマテリアルリサイクルする技術開発の中で，今回透明電極材料のインジウムを回収する技術を開発したので報告する。室温で回収が可能なため，環境に対して負荷がなく省エネルギーに貢献できる。また廃棄物のでない資源の回収に貢献できる。
Recently, the demand for a thin-screen and large-screen television,
in addition to the liquid crystal display (LCD) for cellular phones
and notebook computers that penetrates down to the streets, has grown
remarkably. A large amount of used LCD TV begins to be marketed by
replacement demand. The technology for material collection from wasted
panels is requested. We report the technology that collects the indium
from the transparent electrode material, because it is developed in
technological development to recycle wasted panels generated at the
liquid crystal panel production factory. There is no load for the
environment and it is able to contribute to energy conservation, because
the collection is possible at the room temperature. Moreover, it is
able to contribute to the collection of the resource without generating
waste.
