近年，多種多様な業態において，PDA（Personal Digital Asistants）に代表される携帯情報機器が普及している。業務システムにおけるクライアントとしては，LANへの接続及びサーバマシンとの連動手段を有している事が重要なポイントである。ザウルスを業務システムに適用する場合も同様であり，誰でも・素早く・簡単に用いる事のできる連動システムとしてMCOP（Mobile COmmunication tool for Power Zaurus）の開発を行った。
本稿では，コミュニケーションボックス版MCOP（MCOP−CS）の機能と特長などの詳細について述べる。
In recent years, portable information systems such as PDAs are becoming widespread in various types of business.
Among the most important functions in business use of PDAs are to communicate through LAN and to be linked with the server machine. We have developed MCOP, which is a system for providing Zaurus with these functions while enabling anybody to use it quickly and easily.
This paper describes the functions and details of MCOP for Communication-Box(MCOP-CS).
