我々は，シームレスなパネルの接合技術を用いて，世界最大サイズの40型（対角1m）の直視型 TFT-LCD を実現した。この技術は TFT-LCD が本来もっている特長を損なうことなく容易に大型化が実現できる。本論文では，このシームレスな接合を可能にした接合技術について詳細に述べる。
We have realized the world-largest TFT-LCD with its diagonal size of 40 inches by a seamless panel connection technique. This technique can easily make a larger display without deteriorating the original advantages of TFT-LCD. In this paper , we discuss several technique for a seamless connection.
