本稿では通信品質（Quality of ServiceまたはQoS）制御を可能とするIEEE 802.11eのドラフト仕様に基づいた無線AV伝送システムの実装について解説する。
802.11eでは各ストリームデータに対する専用時間の割り当て（スケジューリング）を行うことによりQoS制御を実現するためのしくみが規定されているが，具体的な実装方法については明記されていない。
本稿では，ソフトウェア処理による第１段階と，それをハードウェア処理により適時補正していく第２段階によるスケジューラの実装について述べる。本構成により無線通信路の変化に対して各局に対する時間割り当ての高速な変更が可能となった。
This paper describes implementation of the wireless AV transmission system in which Quality of Service (QoS) control based on IEEE 802.11e draft is provided.
In IEEE802.11e, QoS is guaranteed by allocating exclusive transmission opportunity time for each stream. However, the document does not describe how to implement the scheduling.
Two steps of the scheduling mechanism, preprocess by software, and dynamically adjusting scheduler by hardware, are described. The scheduling algorithm enables fast time allocation for each station with a change of the wireless communication paths.
