地球温暖化防止のため，電子機器の動作時および待機時の消費電力削減がクローズアップされている。
また，インターネット社会の急速な発展にともないバッテリ駆動の携帯端末やパソコンが普及し，これら携帯機器の使用時間の長時間化および消費電力の削減の目的で，システムの低電圧動作化が進んでいる。
これら機器の省電力化および使用時間の延長に役立つ，低電圧動作低損失レギュレータおよびチョッパーレギュレータの開発を行ったので報告する。
To prevent global warming, reduction in power consumption of electronic equipment at the operating state and the standby state is in the news. The rapid expansion of Internet society has spread mobile terminals and personal computers of battery drive. The system of low voltage operation has been developed, because mobile equipment requires long hours of operating time and reduction in power consumption. We report the development of the low power loss regulator and Chopper regulator that are useful for power saving and long operating time on the equipment.
