新しいユーザインタフェースのパラダイム構築に向けて，提示型ユーザインタフェースを提案する。提示型ユーザインタフェースは，専門的知識がなくても，誰もが簡単に安心して使える目的で考案されたものである。本稿では，提示型ユーザインタフェースの基本的な概念を説明し，その特徴について考察をおこなう。ユーザが提示されたものを選択することによって，ユーザが望むタスクを確実に実行することが，本ユーザインタフェースの特徴である。この場合，選択するものをユーザにどのように提示するかという，提示方法が重要となってくる。その提示方法についての視覚的要素と聴覚的要素についての評価実験を行なったので，その結果を報告する。
We propose a push-based user interface that sets a new paradigm of user interface. It is designed so that everyone can use advanced information appliances without special knowledge. We present the concept of the push-based user interface and discuss its issues.
With the new user interface, the user can perform an arbitrary task by selecting from items rendered by an application. The rendering method for the items is an important factor of the user interface. Visual and auditory factors in the rendering method have been examined through several experiments. We explain the experiments and discuss their results.
