環境問題は,地域的な産業公害から,都市型・生活型の環境問題や,地球環境問題に変化している。特に重要な課題については,国際的な取り決めや国の法律により規制がなされ,環境問題への取り組みが一層強化される傾向にある。
日本,欧州においてはこの傾向が顕著といえる。著名な企業では自主的な環境取り組みを展開しているが,法律対応の「先取り」感が強い。本論文では,家電・エレクトロニクス業界を取り巻く環境問題と,日本及びヨーロッパの環境法規制,業界,当社の対応について論じる。
Environmental issues have been shifted from regional industrial pollution to city-type and living-oriented issues or global environmental issues. Especially, important issues are regulated by international agreements and national laws, so that measures against environmental issues become more restrict.
This trend is remarkable in Japan and Europe. Major companies perform voluntary environmental activities, which seem to be anticipation of law regulations. This article describes the environmental issues surrounding electronics industry, law regulations in Japan and Europe, and the efforts to promote the environmental activities in the industry and Sharp.
