当社は三菱マテリアル株式会社と共同で関西リサイクルシステムズ株式会社を設立し，大阪府枚方市にリサイクルプラントを建設した。このプラントで家電リサイクル法に対応した再商品化等を実施する。
本報では，手解体を主体とした再商品化処理フローやリサイクル技術の説明をする。
また，三菱マテリアル株式会社が所有する多数の素材リサイクル技術の一例として，銅精錬技術の概要を紹介する。
Sharp jointly established Kansai Recycling Systems Corporation (KRSC) with Mitsubishi Material Corporation and built a recycling plant in Hirakata, Osaka. The plant aims to recycle household appliances in compliance with the Designated Household Appliance Recycling Law.
This report explains the recycling technologies used at the plant, and the actual recycling process where manual dismantling plays an important role. It also outlines copper refinement technology as an example of numerous material recycling technologies owned by Mitsubishi Material.
