地上デジタル放送の開始により一般ユーザにとって最も身近な情報端末であるテレビがデジタル家電へと大きく変化している。このデジタル家電の商品開発においては，複雑化する商品をよりユーザが簡単に，安心して操作できるインタフェースの構築が必要であり，とりわけユーザが商品を操作するリモコンの開発においては重要である。
本稿では，この点に留意し開発した地上デジタル受信機操作リモコンのユーザインタフェースについて５つのポイントを紹介する。
With the advent of digital terrestrial broadcasting, TV sets, which have been just the household's most familiar information terminals, are becoming digital home appliances. Development of digital home appliances entails a new user interface that enables users to utilize their ever-increasing capabilities with ease, and this is especially true for their remote controls.
This paper discusses five viewpoints to be considered in user interface design of remote controls for digital terrestrial receivers.
